A Native of New York State, Dr. Susan Galandiuk attended medical school at Wuerzburg
University in Germany. From there, she went to the Cleveland Clinic where she completed
her training in general surgery, followed by a research fellowship at the University
of Louisville. This was succeeded by a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at
the Mayo Clinic. Since 1990, Dr. Galandiuk has been on the full-time faculty at
the University of Louisville where she holds the rank of Professor of Surgery. In
addition, she is the Director of the University of Louisville's Price institute
of Surgical Research.
