Dr. Arun Gadre has been named a 2009 MOSAIC Award recipient by Jewish Family and
Career Services for the work he does both in the general and immigrant communities.
Dr. Gadre is the Heuser Hearing Institute Endowed Professor in Otology and Neurotology
and an Associate Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology at the University of
Louisville. He is also the medical director at the Heuser Institute where he practices.
In addition, he has traveled to India at his own expense to teach advanced techniques
to local caregivers.

In honor of this special award, Mayor Jerry Abramson officially proclaimed May 12,
2009 as Arun Gadre Day in Louisville.
The MOSAIC (Multicultural Opportunities for Success and Achievement In our Community)
Award is hailed to be the “crown jewel” among events in the Jewish community.
